Ding Dong.....parcels calling - Post #2 today(see #1 below)
Since publishing the first post below the mail gal came to my door with parcels! The first one was a box and the return address was my name and address but next to my name it says 'SecretFriend'. (obviously I didn't send it to myself) Upon opening it there was a typed note that reads: Dear Lisa, Hope there is something that will make you smile' and it's signed 'One of your Secret Fairies'. Below are the contents: (click to enlarge)
A round craft paper box that contained inside the metal box with inlay(bottom left corner-it's beautiful) with a dragonfly pin inside. A bag of seaglass and shells. A voile bag containing lace and trims and bit of fabric and a bag of shell buttons. A lighthouse wind chime. A vile of bubbles and a grow your own Mermaid kit.( too fun and it did make me smile) All things perfect for me so it's obvious this secret fairy has really paid attention to who I am. I have no idea who sent this and although I could investigate I don't want to. I love that someone out there thought of doing this random act of kindness....I just hope she reads this to know that I LOVE EVERYTHING in the box, I am TRULY GRATEFUL and I think this was a most delicious surprise!!!!!!!
I also received the handmade beads I ordered that I first saw on Stephanie's blog. If you enlarge the photo can see them even closer... I had ordered them from BeadforLife.
Many are widows caring for their own children as well as AIDS orphans. In spite of these challenges the beaders are resilient, hard working, and resourceful. Thank you for joining the BeadCircle; people connecting around the world to "eradicate poverty one bead at a time". The above statement was on the back of the tag you see. I will be anxious to use these in some artistic way, look at all those colors. They do have a bit of a varnishy smell to them but I am sure that is to preserve them and will go away as they sit out for a while. But they are truly beautiful AND for a good cause. What a great day for mail!!! Also thank you Kai for the wee Quantas airlines kit, those are perfect for keeping in a handbag on the plane.
XOXOXO
NOW, see you in a few days!!

How delicious - a secret surprise in the mail! And the beads are gorgeous. I think the smell will dissipate as they're exposed to hair; probably due to the packaging. xo
MUST comment on the B & B post though.....what a feast, they know good hospitality when they see it....the cat...TOO funny!
Aren't the beads just a rainbow of delight??/ CAnnot wait to see what you do with them! (I didn't smell the varnish, but have had them out for a while)
Dear Lady Giggleswich (the Rustic),
Yes, I adore your new beads!
